PDFCraft ("we", "us") provides free online PDF tools. This policy explains what we do and do not collect when you use the site.

1. File processing

The PDF and image tools currently offered on PDFCraft run entirely inside your web browser. Your documents are read into your device's memory, modified locally, and written back to your downloads folder.

• We do not upload your files to our servers.
• We do not store, copy, index or read the contents of your documents.
• Closing or refreshing the tab discards the working copy of your file.
• Items you explicitly save — such as stamps in "My Saved Stamps" — are stored in your own browser's local storage and can be deleted by you at any time.

If we ever introduce a feature that requires server-side processing (for example an AI-assisted tool), it will be clearly labelled before you use it and described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate and improve the service: aggregated usage data such as pages visited, which tool was used, approximate region, browser type and device category. When you contact us or submit a feature request or bug report, we receive the details you choose to provide.

3. Cookies

We use two categories of cookies and similar browser storage:

• Essential — required for the site to function, including remembering your theme choice and your cookie preferences. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics and advertising — optional, and only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

4. Analytics

Subject to your consent, we may use privacy-conscious analytics services such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages and tools are useful. Analytics data is aggregated and is never linked to the contents of your documents.

5. Advertising

PDFCraft may display advertising, including Google AdSense, to keep the tools free. Ad partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where required, ads are only personalised after you consent; otherwise non-personalised ads are served. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings.

6. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third parties to deliver the site, including our hosting and CDN provider, web font delivery, analytics providers and advertising partners. Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies. Because we do not require accounts and do not store your files, we typically hold very little data about you. To exercise a right, email privacy@pdfcraft.app.

8. Children

PDFCraft is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
