The obvious AI feature for documents is question answering: drop in a 90-page contract and ask what the termination notice period is.
The less obvious one is structure. Long documents are hard to navigate, and an automatically generated outline with page links solves a real, boring problem.
Our constraint is that these features must be opt-in and clearly labelled. Local tools stay local; anything that needs a model will say so before it runs.
